We know that the ever-changing nature of COVID-19 is worrying for everyone.

In addition to your day-to-day concerns, you may also be feeling anxious about the effect the crisis is having on your pension scheme.

As the Scheme is a defined benefit (DB) arrangement, Maersk (the Company) bears any investment risks that arise to protect your savings. In addition, the benefits provided by the Scheme, excluding AVCs, are not directly related to the stock market.

Our ability to pay your pension is not currently affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and we want to assure you that the Trustee Board and the Company are working together to make sure this continues – both now and in the future.
